Privacy Policy

Effective date: May, 2026
YourTalentPath (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates https://yourtalentpath.com (the “Service”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Service. Please read it carefully. By using the Service you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

Account data: When you create an account we collect your name, email address, and password (stored as a secure hash).

Profile data: Job seekers may upload a resume and complete an AI-assisted interview. Employers may provide company details and job descriptions. This content is stored to power our matching features.

Usage data: We automatically collect information about how you interact with the Service — pages visited, features used, and timestamps — to improve the platform.

Communications: If you contact us we retain the content of your messages to respond and improve our support.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the Service
  • Match job seekers with relevant job opportunities and employers with candidates
  • Send transactional emails (account verification, job match alerts, outreach notifications)
  • Analyze usage to improve features and fix bugs
  • Comply with legal obligations
  • Detect and prevent fraud or abuse

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

3. Legal Bases for Processing (GDPR)

  • Contract performance — processing necessary to provide the Service you signed up for
  • Legitimate interests — analytics, security, and platform improvement
  • Legal obligation — compliance with applicable laws
  • Consent — where we have asked for and received your explicit consent (e.g., marketing emails)

4. Your Rights

Depending on your location you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you
  • Correction — request that inaccurate data be corrected
  • Deletion — request that we delete your personal data (“right to be forgotten”)
  • Portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format
  • Objection / Restriction — object to or restrict certain processing activities
  • Opt-out of sale (CCPA) — California residents have the right to opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at privacy@yourtalentpath.com. We will respond within 30 days.

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You may delete your account at any time, after which we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), hashed passwords, and HTTP security headers. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security but we take reasonable precautions to protect your data.

7. Cookies and Tracking

We use session cookies strictly necessary to keep you logged in. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or cross-site tracking. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but doing so may prevent you from using authenticated features.

8. Third-Party Services

We may share data with trusted service providers who assist us in operating the Service (e.g., email delivery, database hosting). These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data and may not use it for their own purposes.

9. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
